Hello and Welcome to 52 Weeks of Mini Pet Portraits!

52 Weeks of Mini Pet Portraits is a way for you to win a FREE portrait and a way to help me shift my art focus.

Throughout 2026 my goal is to shift my art focus from commissioned only based art, to commissioned art plus pet portrait products (like notepads with dogs on them and stuff). BUT! I need help! I need animals to paint for said products.

For next the 52 Weeks I will be painting a new 6x6 pet portrait each week! Which is why I need your help, I need your pets! There is no obligation to purchase your pet portrait. At the beginning of 2027 we will be voting on the top 5 portraits and those owners will receive their portraits for FREE!

52 Weeks of Portraits FAQs

Do I have to subscribe to your newsletter in order to submit a portrait?
- No...However, subscriber submissions will take precedence.
- Subscribers will also get a 15% off coupon if they would like to purchase their pet portrait.

How big will each portrait be?
- Each portrait is 6x6 inches painted on a flat painting board in oil paint.

Do I have to purchase my portrait?
- NO! There is no obligation to purchase your pet's portrait, but thank you for participating. I super appreciate it.

How much will each portrait be?
- Each portrait will be priced at $125. Subscribers to my newsletter will get a 15% discount if they choose to purchase.

How is a Mini Pet Portrait different from a Commissioned Portrait?
- If you submit an image to the mini pet portraits, you do not have to purchase the painting. Commissioned Portraits are paid for.
- Minis are only 6x6. Commissioned Portraits come in any size you want.
- With the Minis, the pet owners have less control over the end product. Yes photos are sent, but I decide on the composition and the coloring. In a Commissioned Portrait you are in charge. Mock-ups are made, and the choice in the end product is yours.
- The Minis will be made into products, Commissioned Portraits are not. They are one of a kind Originals.

Can I purchase my pet portrait before the end of the year's voting?
- YES!

If my portrait is voted as one of the top five, but I have already purchased it, can I get a refund?
- YES!

Can I submit more than one pet?
- YES!

Can I get additional Prints of my Pet Portrait?
- YES! If you would like prints, please let me know and I can get you some price break downs.

Note: All portrait images will be owned by Katherine Griffin Studio. By participating in 52 Weeks, you agree to allow me to use your painted pet portrait in future Griffin Studio products and prints. The photos of your pets will not be used in any products or prints.
